Fascination of Plants Day: VISTA Digital Event

‌© Ivan Kulich

Throughout the week of May 11-19, the social media channels of ISTA's science education program, VISTA, will be overgrown with plant sciences in the build-up to Fascination of Plants Day.

Follow the VISTA science education Instagram and TikTok during this week for astonishing plant-based facts, home-grown experiments you can perform, a hothouse of plant research at ISTA, and a close-up look into the behavior of the organisms that give our planet life.

World Day for Glaciers: What the Ice is Telling Us

‌On March 21, ISTA observed the first-ever United Nations World Day for Glaciers to recognize what shrinking glaciers mean for the health of our planet.

To understand the global impact of glacier loss, and to learn how one glacier is fighting back, we sat down with ISTA Professor and galciologist, Francesca Pellicciotti.
